It is of a rose Syd gave me for valentines day some years ago...
A tiny apricot pink rose, a mere 2-3cm across.
It's delicate beauty fascinates me, the changing colours and the soft velvet delicate tf the petals are something Ive been photographing and trying to paint for years....
and Ive tried to capture some of that here...
