Ambrosia Jones is a remote area nurse, who is also an artist, healer and writer. She works in watercolour, ceramics, felt, photography, scent, music and any other medium she puts her hands on. She specialises in what she calls Mystical Realism and her art is a reflection of how she sees and interacts with the world around her.
Her first book, "How to heal a broken heart" ( published by Blue Angel Publishing) is a guided journal to help those dealing with grief and loss to work through the pain and heal, which is illustrated with the artworks she created while going through the grief of losing her partner of 16 years, Dan.

Much of Ambrosia’s work is inspired by her extensive travels, living and working in outback Australia as a remote area nurse. She has worked with at-risk teenagers in outback schools, taught art therapy and run workshops and classes on energy healing and earth shamanism for three decades. She was the founder of the Blue Pentacle, a Pagan healing organisation focused on bridging the divide between modern medicine and alternative healing practices. She has also written articles and regular columns on traditional healing methods for different publications.

She teaches classes and workshops and her second book is currently in production

She is also working on another artistic project _ about the Perfume of Flowers and Plants around the world.
