I have decided to offer limited edition art jewellery versions of a select few of my botanical paintings.
They are all runs of only 10 pieces as they are quite time consuming to make, but I find the way the domed glass magnifies and enhances the picture so beautiful...and the antique Victorian style setting just appeals to the old fashioned romantic in me so very much...
This first one is of a painting I did of a rose Syd gave me for valentines day some years ago...
It is a tiny apricot pink rose, a mere 2-3cm across.
the painting I did of it is part of a larger project around teaching botanical perfumery that I am working on presently...
