“I adore perfume. I love dressing up and feeling glamorous for a change. For me perfume is part of the process of going from a hard training session to being a normal person. Which is why I wanted my scent to be light, clean and fun! The world of sport is a serious business, and it's hard to show any personality there. So it's my chance to show another side of myself. I cycle on an indoors track for many hours a day, so I wanted my perfume to be outdoorsy, sunny, fresh clean and feminine. And for it to make me feel a bit more relaxed, calm, light-hearted and outgoing.
I've named it Elsie. Which is actually my middle name. I used to hate it when I was younger, but I transitioned into liking it as I grew to like the person I became. It's an old family name that was passed down to me...my great grandmothers name. And to me, it represents the other side of me that people don't know."
