I first came up with this one when I was living in Berlin, Germany. Winters in Berlin are depressing. They are long and dark and grey and cold. And I was experimenting with essential oil combinations that could get me through this long dark tea time of the soul without total despair. Later on I came to my senses and moved back to Australia where the sun shines most of the time. And this solved the problem. But to get back to the perfume side of the story, I came up with a wonderful concoction full of a collection of essential oils that all work to brighten your mood. The base is a soothing warm woody musk with lots of sandalwood and a touch of patchouli, both of which are used in Aromatherapy and Ayurveda to counteract anxiety and depression and Ive blended this with bright Tahitian Lime and Sicilian Lemon. Citrus are Mother Natures happy pick me ups. The fresh zingy scent of fresh lemons and limes make everyone feel brighter and more awake. They are added to shower gels, fizzy drinks and a whole host of body products for exactly this reason.
The result is a friendly bright unisex scent that everyone seems to like. It's a great morning pick me up, and the kind of scent that anyone can wear any where, any time.
