Light at the end of the Tunnel

I could see the bird battling the whirlwind to fly through the tunnel towards the light right from the beginning...painting it in however was such a challenge...and it changed continually as I painted it though....started as the Raven I saw in the beginning...but it changed to more of a phoenix as I went along....
Painting is so often a process of continual surprise for me...I rarely work with a plan from beginning to end...and the painting often ends up being something completely different to what I imagined....
This one came through during the Corona pandemic...and a bit of a rough patch in my own life....
And I hope it gives you all a bit of hope....
